The conviction of 14-year-old Lionel Tate for first-degree
murder and the subsequent life in prison sentence has been all
but absent from the media lately. After the Florida court handed
down the shocking sentence three weeks ago, it seems the media
considers it old news. I am choosing to publish my feelings
about this case anyway.
I cannot seem to overcome my strong feelings about this topic. I
cannot tolerate the fact that a 6 year-old child was beaten to
death yet I cannot accept a 14 ...

Everyone has got that one friend that is completely fashion forward. You know who I'm talking about. She's the girl that always seems to know about the hottest fashion trends before everyone else and is always showing up places looking like she stepped out of Vogue magazine. She was the first to rock the shiny wet look black leggings, the first to cinch her one shoulder jersey black pencil dress with a skinny metallic belt and the first to style up her jeans and t-shirt look with a white ...

Originally this was going to be a list for my two teenagers but
some of these ideas are better suited to adults with a valid
driver's license and a bit of know-how. Some of these take a bit
of planning and organizing, but most of them could be done on a
fairly spur of the moment case by case basis. The great thing
about a lot of these ideas is that you're spreading holiday
cheer by helping to make someone else's otherwise stressful and
overwhelming to-do list a little bit easier. Who wouldn't ...

There's something about our human nature that enjoys being
competitive. It is built within us and almost mimics primitive
behavior. We seem to have this inner desire to be the "top dog"
-- doing things quicker and smarter. It is sort of like
self-preservation. We desire to go the distance through all
hardships and never stop.
This nature is very profound in athletes but we all have it to
some degree. We are naturally competitive and sometimes even
with ourselves.
In sports, we usually always ...

Generally, fashion jewelry is also known as junk jewelry. Why is it so? Because they are made of less expensive materials namely plastic, synthetic glasses & imitation stones. Due to its cheap availability many can afford these materials and due to its nature they are sometimes referred to as fake jewelry. It is normally bright as well as flashy also. The use of items made of bangles balances the tone of outfits and can also be stylish accessories for special events i.e. engagements, ...

Beads hold ancient roots, and their cultural significance can be traced to their early use in bartering. Beads served as a primitive currency, and they still retain their value today. In modern times they are found in the form of decoration as jewelry, rather than money. In earlier times, beads were made from a variety of materials from fishbone right through to teeth and as cultures become more sophisticated, so did the materials that beads were made from. In ancient days, people fashioned ...

Have you ever wonder why some dogs seem to be so happy and
playful even up to their twilight years?
The answer is not far from reach. If your dog is given an
environment that arouses his curiosity yet not over stimulating,
chances you'll have a very a happy, healthy and emotional stable
dog.
I'm not talking about throwing some dog toys for him to
self-entertain, and thinking that he'll be so indebted to you.
On the contrary, you're doing injustice to his creativity to
play.
One of the best ...
