One of the hardest parts of life is growing up. Teenagers are
faced with decision-making, responsibility, and choices,
everything adults have to face on a daily basis. Life gets
overwhelming at times and we all need someone to depend on. Who
better to depend on for support, then a parent?
I can remember when I was a teenager. I played sports, had a lot
of friends, but I also felt depressed at times, experimented
with alcohol, and struggled to keep my grades up. I had a hard
time trusting ...

Baby modeling isn't an exclusive art - nor is it as potentially
fraught with danger as modeling opportunities for older children
or adults.
Unlike modeling aspirations of someone older - a teenager or an
adult - a baby-modeling career doesn't demand that the tiny one
stand out among the crowd. She or he doesn't have to have the
pearliest smile, the greatest physique, the wiggliest walk or
any of those accoutrements that older model wanna-be's must have
to be chosen from the ranks of the ...

I have wondered just who are the ancestors of the shih tzu. Like
all other dog breeds, shih tzu ancestors most likely come from
five choices: Grey Wolf, Golden Jackal, Coyote, African Wild
Dog. It is hard to imagine our little shih tzu baby dolls has
any of these wild characters in their background. According to
researchers, all canines have their roots in one of these five
categories. I don't think I could ever be in love with a real
live wolf or a coyote. A coyote makes those strange ...

We have a long history with domesticated animals and even the
nay Sayers can't deny their roll in society past and present.
There is evidence that as long as 10,000 years ago the Native
Americans had domesticated dogs as depicted in early rock
paintings. Apparently, the dogs in the painting look remarkably
like the Carolina dogs of today.
It has been well documented that dogs and horses of past have
been bred to assist us in various ways whether it be pack dog,
work horse, hunter or herder. ...

Jewellery is like anything else in fashion, it changes with the seasons. 2008 was all about wearing less jewellery but making bold statements with one or two show-stopping pieces. Statement jewellery looks like being big in 2009 as well but now we're talking even bigger and bolder. Geometric shapes and ethnic-inspired pieces are really big this year, with an emphasis on rich, bold colours. Prominent stones and gems are also very popular in this year's collections so it could be time to dust off ...

Although it might seem pretty corny to a lot of folks today, the
old Andy Griffith Show really did have a lot of common sense
family values that we could learn from today.
Take for instance the episode "Bailey's Bad Boy" that guest
starred Bill Bixby as a spoiled rich teenager who wanted his
rich dad to bail him out of jail once he got in trouble in
Mayberry. Bixby's character sees the perfect example of
parenting from Andy when Taylor makes Opie stand on his own two
feet and pay for a window ...
